Sometimes I feel as if I’m just setting myself up for failure. I’m totally disillusioned with my life, my husband, my overall position in this world. As far as husbands go he’s one of the better ones…he doesn’t beat me, cheat on me or put me down but I feel as if I’m taken for granted. He does nothing to help around the house, buys things (trucks, 4-wheelers, etc.) without consulting me, even though it’s my money paying for them too, and blows hundreds of dollars at a time at the riverboat casinos and then doesn’t understand why I get pissed when we get shut off notices from the electric company and I have to try to come up with the money to pay it. I feel as if I’m caught in a no win situation. I can’t afford to leave, my car would have been paid off a week ago but he didn’t pay the property taxes and I had to extend my car loan for 2 yrs to get the money to pay them. I feel stuck and am just holding on by a thread.

I basically love everything about this, and since I just came inside after someone set of the freaking fire alarm, I’m killing this extra hour I should be sleeping by doing nonsense things.
